Not at all! This lock is designed for a DIY, damage-free installation in just minutes. It mounts securely to the inside of your door using heavy-duty 3M industrial adhesive, making it perfect for both renters and homeowners.
What happens if the batteries die while I’m out?
The smart app features a built-in battery level indicator and will send you low-battery alerts well before they run out. Because this is a retrofit lock, your original physical key will also still work as a manual backup!
Can I track who enters my home and when?
Yes! Through the Blusafe, Tuya, or Smart Life app, you can view a detailed access log that shows exactly which passcode, fingerprint, or user unlocked the door and at what time.
How many fingerprints can the keypad store?
The wireless keypad features an advanced biometric sensor that can securely store up to 50 unique fingerprints, giving you plenty of space for family, trusted friends, or staff.
Will the door lock automatically behind me?
Yes, you can enable an Auto-Lock timer within the app so your door automatically secures itself after a set period. You can also lock it manually by pressing and holding the "#" key on the keypad for a few seconds.
