The Blusafe Origin Smart Plus and Apollo are designed for uPVC and composite doors with a lift-lever multipoint mechanism. This kit gives a wooden or timber door that same mechanism, so the smart handle fits and operates exactly as intended — correct alignment, smooth lift-to-lock action and a secure fit.
Everything needed is included, down to a drilling guide for accurate fitting, whether you're retrofitting an existing door or preparing a new one.

Do I need this kit?
Only for wooden or timber doors. If your door is uPVC or composite with a multipoint lock — the kind you lift the handle to lock — the Origin Smart Plus and Apollo fit directly and this kit isn't needed.
Can I fit it myself?
A competent DIYer with standard tools can — the included drilling guide takes the guesswork out of positioning. If in doubt, any joiner or locksmith will make quick work of it.
Does it change how the smart lock works?
No — once fitted, your Origin Smart Plus or Apollo works on a timber door exactly as it does on uPVC: lift the handle to throw the bolts, and unlock by fingerprint, card, code or app as normal.
